What should I do for my dog that has broken his tail and is chewing it off? We are unable to get to the vet at the time. He has not been pooping since he has broken his tail.

I'm sorry, but there's no home first aid for this one... You need to get him to your veterinarian ASAP. Aside from what must be causing a lot of discomfort, the inability to defecate and incontinence means there very well could be some serious nerve damage.
