My one year old pit bull's eyes have been watering constantly for the last 10 minutes or so, and there is some puss coming out as well. Both eyes look irratated. What can i do to help him and should i go to a 24hr vet immediately? Thanks for your help.

Was he outside where he could have gotten in to something?  An infection would not set in so quickly so I would suspect something is irritating they eyes.  Especially since it is both.  I don't think you need to go to an Emergency clinic tonight.  If you have sterile saline, like you would use for contacs rinse out both eyes thoroughly.  It is however never recommended that you wait too long when ever you are dealing with an eye condition.  If it does not clear up, or gets worse go to your regular vet in the morning.

    Good luck.
