i took him to a vet and they gave him a needle and some medicine and they took some x-rays and found nothing in his throat he is still coughing their is no more drooling and the breathing is a bit better but far form normal he is also eating now and suggestions???

Ok, did they take photos of his heart/ thorasic cavity? coughing can denote problems else where with in the body.
