Tail/Paw Issues

I saved a Rottweiler 7 wk old puppy from being put down. The problem is she has her tail banded, it is swollen and seems to be very painful and she walks with a limp on her front left paw. She walks on the top of it, kind of like a money walks on its hands. I don't have a clue what to do about the tail or the paw. Is there something I can put on the tail to keep infection out? I will try to attach a pic of her tail also.

This is not something that you can effectively treat with topical medications at home. I worry about the infection setting in deep into the bone and potentially requiring very aggressive treatment.

I'd take her to the vet right away (no later than tomorrow) to get this infection under control before it becomes serious and much more difficult (and expensive) to treat.

Also, I'm concerned that she has a developmental defect, previous trauma, or a neurological problem in that leg - that is not a normal position for the leg to be in. Definitely needs to be checked out at the vet.
