Hi. We have a 13yr old Doll Face persian who has started exhibiting some strange behaviour. She has increased thirst, low appetite and has difficulty climbing stairs. When picked up she complains. She seems to be favouring her rear end and just wants to hide away. i am concerned this may be late stage PKD. Any ideas? Thanks, Martin.

An increase in thirst and what sounds like hindlimb weakness are 2 big red flags for diabeties.  She should see a vet.
