My dog is walking very slow. Does not run at all and needs to rest often while walking. Tries to sit to rest but has a hard time even doing that. He can no longer bark. It is as though he has no strength to bark. Eats, drinks and relieves himself ok. I am worried.

Hi there. He is 11 years old. He is a very old man so it is natural for him to not walk as much and play as much as he used to. He may well be dealing with arthritis so a trip to your vet would be advisable to discuss medications and supplements. Hope that helps, David
