Hi
I recently adopted a Cairn Terrior NOT neutered male that is wonderfully trained - he is estimated at 7 yrs old.
He constantly marks his territory inside and out - whenever he can especially if he is not under DIRECT supervision. Would neutering help?

It may or may not at this point.  At 7 yrs old this is very much a learned behavior at this point.  However, neutering is still recommended.  You need to remove the hormonal drive for this behavior or there will be no chance of stopping it.  At least neutering will give you about a 50% chance of stopping it.
