Operation

Rating: 9
Peanut
Peanut

Peanut is 9 years old and is 4 lbs. also unusually tiny, tea cup mini pin. She has a slight thickening of the uterus and has not been fixed. The vet said she should and another vet said she is too tiny to go through the operation. She is in good health and the vet who will perform the surgery will have a heart monitor on her and keep her most of the day to insure she is doing well. Should I put her through this? I know females get pyrometria and I that requires emergency surgery.

You should absolutely spay her.  She should have a preanesthetic workup.  If the work up is normal, there is not reason not to do it.  The only thing that size brings into play is that different anesthetic agents may be used.  Size is not a reason to avoid anesthesia.
