coughing

Hi AGAIN sorry for all the questions but i just want to make sure my dog is OK.

Well my dog has been coughing lately and it kind of looks like he's choking and nothing comes up..it happens when we're walking him aswell..we got him a harness so that the collar wouldnt choke him but i dont think its got anything to do with that!!

Please help!!

    I think you should have him checked by your vet for this. Its difficult for me to say without examining him.

    Thanks, I know Im asking alot of questions but its just to ensure my dog is healthy!!Well..this has only come up recently, my dog has only been drinking his water mayb say..twice in around five days?? He will drink milk any time its handed to him but he will not drink water!! For some reason I keep thinking this whole not drinking water problem is causing the problem! so what should I do??

    Does he eat dry or canned food? If canned food that represents a lot of water intake as about 40% is water. He may also have learnt that if he doesnt drink water he will get milk instead.

    We decided to try ourselves because alot of people in petshops said just to try at home. But now we are bringing him out ot the vets on tuesday as there not open monday. I was ALSO wondering is 9kg under weight for a kind of small-ish dog??? Thanks!!

    Hi, weight is fairly arbitary really. You should base things on his body condition as breed standard weights are just a guidline
