vomiting and not drinking water

My 4 year old Golden retriever mix vomited yesterday white foam and wouldn't eat most of the day. She finally ate last night. She got us up in the middle of the night to go out and didn't do anything. Then she got us up again with vomiting. She vomited whole pieces of food from last night. She also has been hiccuping intermittently for the past 2 days. Her stomach also gurgles--you can hear it across the room. I gave her some simethecone in case of gas. Today she will not eat at all or drink water. What else should I do?

First of all it is very unusual for a golden retriever to not want to eat.  I would like to know if its possible that she has eaten something she shouldn't have (toy, garbage, scraps, etc.)  She is in danger of becoming dehydrated from repeated vomiting and her inability to keep food or water down.  I would highly recommend a visit to your vets office for an exam and possible bloodwork and/or x-rays.  It's possible that she just has a gastroenteritis (stomach ache) from eating something she's not used to.  Many of these cases also require supportive care at the veterinarian's office (fluids, anti-nausea drugs, etc.).
