Stifff Botton Jaw

I have notice that the skin on the botton jaw is very tight and stiff but only right around the opening of her mouth. I am unsure if there is something medically wrong or if it is just old age.

Is it only stiff and tight when you try to look in her mouth?  This is not something that is age related.  It could be anything from dental pain to a neuro-muscular condition.
