Not sure this is serious...

I know this sounds weird...my dog was taking a nap on the couch and when she got up there was a HUGE wet mark on the couch. It was a clear liquid (not urine because I sniffed it) and this actually happened earlier this week (but I didn't think anything of it). She has been eating and acting normal. She is a 3.5 year old Jack Russel/Lab mix.
Any ideas? Thank you!

  Well, the liquid is one of 2 things - salvia or urine (yes, even if it doesnt smell like urine, it still could be!). This could be a sign of urinary incontinence. I would definitely have a urinalysis performed on her (as well as a physical exam) by your veterinarian. There are plenty of treatments for incontinence if that is what it turns out to be.
