My 4 year old Shih Tzu has been having diarrhea and vomiting for the last 3 days. This also happened a couple of weeks ago. What could be going on? Is he ok?

There are many things that can cause vomitting and diarrhea. It could be something as simple as eating things that aren't food (ie grass, leaves, sticks, tissues, etc) to intestinal parasites, viruses, and many other disease processes. Giving table food is notorious for causing this. Table food can also cause inflamation of the pancreas, which can be very serious. I more thorough history is needed before more specific advice can be given.
