My older dog is really itching herself and is red in spots from her chewing herself, what kind of home remedies can I give her to alleviate this?

There are nt many home remidies for this. You can give benedryl 25mg two or three times a day, but this will NOT address the underlying cause. She should be checked for fleas by for vet. She many also need antibiotics.
