bleeding bowls

my dog has been bleeding from her anus of and on for a bout two weeks. we didn't know where the blood was coming from at first but my daughter just observed her spotting. it's not a lot, it's still red and may have a slight offish color. what do I do?

    This spotting could be come from her anal glands.  All dogs have 2 anal gland at about the 4 and 7 o'clock position around the anus.  They can become inflamed, infected, and abscess.  She should be examined by your vet, especially if this has been going one for 2 weeks.  She will likely need antibiotics, and at this piont, may need to have them flushed and infused.
