Hi,
I have a 10 yr old unspayed female cat who, though not showing any other symptoms, has a strange growth under her stomach. The growth is about two centimeters long and one wide running along the underside of her stomach just under the skin. It seems to feel only loosely attached, and has the consistancy of a patch of hard fish eggs, i.e. small pellets grouped together one layer thick. She seems to have no other symptoms for now, so.. anyone have an idea what this might be?
Thanks,
John

Hi
It sounds like your cat could have mammary tumors (breast cancer). This is quite common in unspayed animals. I'm afraid she will have to be examined by a vet and probably booked in for a mastectomy.
Good luck
