Research Paper

  • Reserach Paper

I am currently working on a research paper on the effects of ultrasound therapy on animals. I have been able to find some pretty generic information on this but I would like to know if you know of any wildlife or exotic animals that this therapy has been preformed on, the reason for the treatment, and the overall outcome. If you could help with any little bit of information that would be great.

    Hi

I have worked in many veterinary clinics in the UK and have never come across ultrasound being used therapeutically in small animals. (I myself have only ever used it diagnostically as well). I have read about it being used in horses a bit but I don't think it would be used in wildlife ever. Try calling a Zoo and asking to speak to one of their vets, or search for veterinarians with a certificate in zoological medicine.

Sorry can't be of any help!
