Teeth

My dog had radiation for cancer on his muzzle about 3 years ago. I have noticed recently that his gums look red and sometimes they bleed when I'm brushing his teeth. Nothing around the house has changed, so it's not a new toy or his diet. Any suggests?

Dental disease is the most common problem that we see. 80% of my patients over the age of 4 have some form of dental disease, especially small breeds.  Your dog may need a dental cleaning, and possibly extrations.
