How long has it been there and is it getting bigger? it may be a bug bite of some sort, but it could also be a growth. Histiocytomas are benign skin tumors that are relatively common in younger dogs. They are easily diagnosed with a needles biopsy and there is no need for general anesthesia. They are self limiting and reso;ve on there own. They do not need to be surgically removed.
