My dog needs help now?

Molly

I took my dog to a new doctor on Saturday because Molly's doctor could'nt see her until Monday. When I got there they did an exam and then gave her a shot and some cream for her eyes, then I took her back on Monday because she was not any better and looking not so good. They again checked her out then he called another doctor in cause he did'nt know what was wrong, they decided to give me two medications and to still use the cream. Now I am taking her back again first thing tomorrow because she is now hurting, crying, her eyes are shut her third eye lids are hanging and red, she is swollen around the one eye, and everytime she so much as grazes by something she yipes. I have payed over $160 dollars and still no one knows what is wrong. Please help me to decide what I should do.

  There are several things that can cause painful eyes.  What was the orginal erason you took her in?  What kind of shot did she receive?  What kind of eye ointments is she on?  Did they stain her eyes to check for a corneal ulcer or scratch?  Are the whites of her eyes red?  Although rare in young dogs, she may need to be checked for glaucoma and she may also need her tear production checked.
