I've been researching about vomiting and regurgitation. However the just of what's going on with my cat is she throws up (food only) within 15-45 minutes of eating, and if I don't pick it up she will eat it. I had the same issue years back in which I was told to only feed her a 1/4-1/2 a cup of dry food twice a day. This stopped the vomiting for quite some time.. or so I thought. She also tries to chew any type of plastic she can get her hands on, as well as any long threads (5-7in) that may be sticking out of the carpet.
My cat won't stop Vomiting..

Kristina McCurdy says:
With the information you have given me regarding her eating things she shouldnt; she may have an obsturction, in other words, the long threads ect could be sitting in her intestines. This would make it difficult for food to go through the normal digestion process.
In addition, kittys are prone to renal failure, and a symptom of renal failure is vomiting.
You should bring her to your Vet so he can run a blood panel and get some radiographs.
I hope I have been helpful and I hope your kitty feels better soon!
