My new baby rat is covered in lice and might also have mites :( Can i get rid of them so they never come back? should i treat it myself or take him in to see a vet?

There are some ivermectin spot on products for small pets you can get or alternatively your vet can use an injection. You will need to get either option from your vet Im afraid. hope that helps, David
