Concerned

My dog, Gracie, is very sick tonight. I'm taking her to the vet in the morning but I'm a little nervous about her tonight. She has been throwing up since I fed her a new type of food tonight and she has also been having very watery bowl movements all night. She has tried to go so much that now there seems to be a little blood in her stool. Could it be from her pushing so much? I'm a new dog owner and I'm not sure if i should call the emergency vet or just take her in the morning. Could it be food poisoning or a bad reaction to the new food? very concerned here.

An abrupt change in diet can cause what you are seeing.  If she is behaving normal otherwise, that's probably what it is.  If she gets tablefood that will contribute to the problem and could predispose her to pancreatitis (which is more serious).  Blod in the stool is always distressing to see, but it is not an emergency.  It is unlikely that the food is toxic.  The blood could be because of straining/pushing or intestinal irritation.
