Hi, we just got our dog from a shelter. He is one year old, and has kennel cough. He goes pee very often (about every 15 or 20mins) and his heart rate is beating pretty fast. Is this something we should be concerned about? He is on doxycycline for the kennel cough.

It sounds to me that he is just very stressed out at the moment. All the changes going on in his life right now will be a lot to deal with. Just make sure you reassure him and be with him as much as possible during this settling in period.
