Hi there! When did this problem start? Is it only one eye that is teary? Does the eye itself look red/irritated? What about the conjunctiva? A picture would be helpful. If the only problem is that one of the eyes is a little teary, this is probably caused by irritation of the eye by hair, fumes, etc. Does he seem bothered by it, ie. scratching it or keeping his eye closed? For now I would bathe it in some salt water daily, and keep an eye on it. If the symptoms worsen it might be worth taking him to the vets as he might need antibiotic drops for the eye.
