We just brought Sam home yesterday after he needed his leg ampuatated. We want to encourage him to walk again. He weights 19 lbs. any ideas?

I am sorry to hear about your kitty, but, the good news is that animals normally recover very well from amputiations. The best thing you can do for your kitty is give him the extra attention he needs. He is probably going through a tough time trying to rebalance himself and learn how to live his life with out that leg. He needs some good old fashioned TLC and plenty of treats and if he likes toys....bring on the toys!
