There are many reasons for regurgitation of food. It has to be distinguished also from true vomiting- i.e. is it from the stomach or oesophagus. If it's a one-off occurrence i wouldn't worry too much, it could be from eating too quickly, or a sensitivity to the food. Some dogs do this occasionally with no other problems or prgoression. If it's persistent and accompanied by other signs of illness, there is the potential for something more serious to be going on- like an obstruction or a genetic defect as she's a young dog, or a gastrointestinal infection. But don't worry about the latter as it'smuch more likely to be nothing serious.
