Veteran Advisor David says:
Cocker Spaniels typically live 10 - 14 years in my experience. Quality of life will be dependent on illness rather than a specific number of years on the clock. You will need to talk with your veterinarian about whether the quality of life is good in your pet. Is your dog still talking walks, getting up to great you, eating... If most boxes are still checked then there is sufficient quality of life to continue.
