Hi, My cat is 13-14 yrs old and has for the past few months been coughing and sneezing with green discharge.... is it cat flu? he is very quiet in himself and sleeps alot.

It sure sounds like he may have an upper respiratory infection (URI). Does he go outside or is he purely inside? Did he have similar problems when he was a kitten? and is the discharge one or both nostrils? Other things that can mimic an URI are deep dental infections, polyps, sinusitis, fungal infections and tumors ( this would be rare). I would suggest that he does get checked over by your vet so that he can be prescribed some meds to help
