hot spots

my golden has a hot spot behind his ear,and my other golden continues to lick it. Will it make it worse?

    The best treatment for hotspots is clipping the fur from the affected area and bathing with salt water. You may need to get antibiotics and an e-collar from your vet to stop the potential for scratching
