??Brain tumor

My 15 year old Bichon is blind s/p unsuccesful cataract surgery; now deaf - unknown cause; has started barking and wanting something 2-5 times each night. We finally figured out he wanted food - then drinks of water - then to go out He had a grand mal seizure after being upset about getting dried after a bath, none observed except that one. He paces constantly, had a motor deficit episode this weekend that seems to have resvoled except for odd head tilt movements - almost like Tourettes! I am thinking brain tumor - any thoughts?? Diane

Hi there, Unfortunately, due to Otto's age and all of the neurological issues you have described, a brain tumopr is certainly possible. Other things could be inflammatory disease, epilepsy, vestibular disease, infections disease. However, tumor is top of my list. The only way to diagnose this definitively would be via an MRI or CT scan of Otto's brain, which would be costly and also require a general anesthetic. I hope this helps in your decision making. All the best!
