My hamster got olive oil all over his fur. How can I get it off?

    You can use a drop of Dawn dish soap (very small amount) to get the olive oil off your hamster. Then wipe her down with a damp sponge The olive oil won't hurt her, even if she's ingested it. It may just cause a little diarrhea.

    You can't wash a hamster. I would just get a wash cloth drenched with luke warm water and try to rub it off of him. if that doesn't work i don't know what will...Good Luck!!!!! BTW, that must be one mischevious hamster!!!!!!
