Hi there, It depends where this odor is coming from - if it is from her vulva, she may gave a urinary infection, or more serious, she could have an infection of her uterus. If the odor is coming from her anus, it could be the smell of her anal sac excretions that you are smelling. It is difficult to tell, your vet may be able to tell more easily if you took her in for an office visit. All the best!

Is it a constant flow or was it just a small amount that is gone now? If it was just a small amount of foul smelling substance, it was very likely normal anal gland discharge.
