i was wondering what i can use on cuts on my dog that will help them heal faster, he had a flea allergy, his lampshade collar drives him crazy an he won't sleep at night with it on, he has bites on the bridge of his nose that bleed a little. Does cornstarch help clot the blood also? thanks for any info.

    Hi

You can't make skin wounds heal quicker than the natural healing process, all you can do though is ensure the cuts don't get infected and therefore slow down the healing. You can do this by bathing them in salt water daily, or use dilute chlorhexidine or iodine solution if you have it and the cuts are severe enough to warrant that.
