I have just adopted a 3 year old female cat. Since I already 3 male cats of approx 7 years, I would like to know help them tolerate each other. At the moment I have to keep her separtly since they cannot see eye to eye

I have had a similar problem in the past, in which, I had adopted a cat and the cat who has lived with me for three years "just did not like our "new family member." I gave the older cat a special room for her (the laundry rooom) and made sure that she had her own litter pan and that she had plenty of alone/play time with me. She came along pretty well. Adjusting to another animal in the house is hard for cats some times. Just like people every cat has their own personality. Keep doing what you are doing adjustment can take a while.
