My 10 month old Doberman threw up sat. night twice, in his vomit was a rock, on Sun. morning he went outside ate some grass, then about 30 minutes later he threw the grass in 4 small piles, since then, he has'nt ate his food, but hehas been drinking his water, not as much as usual but he is drinking, he is just laying around not very active, his nose up until about 1 hr ago has been cold and wet, now its warm and dry. How long do i let him go before taking him to Vet?

I think he should go today as soon as you can get an appointment, this is something I wouldn't wait on. I have seen a dog before with many rocks ( about 10) in his stomach that had to be surgically removed. There are many things we get concerned about with vomiting issues and ingestion of foreign bodies..... intestinal obstruction, ulceration and irritation of the stomach and esophageal lining, dehydration, pain, infection, rupture of intestines and bloat (especially deep chested dogs like dobermans) I hope he feels better soon
