Do you have a picture you could show me?

The most likely causes in a young pup like this are puppy pyoderma or an allergic reaction to something on the carpets, floor or bedding

If you upload a pic I may be able to comment further for you

Every day I see pets come into my clinic injured and unwell. Its always so upsetting knowing that treatment could be taken a lot further only if the owner had taken out pet insurance. You have health insurance, so should your pet... Dr Brooks

thank you. hopefully the picture is clear enough. she occasionally scratches the rash but it isn't really bothering her. she is still (very) lively and eating normally.

mmm... this probably warrants some fungal cultures and microscope work by your vet and some mild anti itch meds

Could this possibly b a case of mange? A friend of mine has a dog that had a very similar looking rash and was diagnosed and treated for mange.
