My Baby Chico

I'vewrote in before about my 4 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He chews on his feet and always looking at them like there are something on them and there's not. I've got him on a flea treatment and he doesn't have flea's or worms at all. The vet has gave him shots for him chewing and said it was a alergy. I've had him on benadryl and it doesn't help. You said it could be anzied. Where can I go and get the medication for that. Maybe at petsmart. I've also go spray medicated antiseptic spray to see if it would help. I don't want to have to put him to sleep because he's my baby and I love him so much. Please help me!!
Thanks, Melissa

Here's the response that I made to your previous post:

My first concern would be an allergy when you mention him chewing on his feet. If this has been ruled out, what you might be dealing with is an anxiety issue. He may benefit from being placed on a low dose of an anxiety medication to help him relax. Some pets can eventually be weaned off of them, some will require being on these medications for quite some time. Without knowing what you've tried with your baby, I cannot be sure where to direct you from here but anxiety medications would be the next step I would recommend if you've already explored the idea of him having an allergy that would make his body sensitive, have him on a good flea/tick preventative to be certain that this is not a problem related to dermal parasites, etc.

    Good luck!
