Can a baby jackrabbit be saved after an attack by a cat? labored breathing, compromised abdominal area, but breathing on its own, and very scared. Will this animal recover on its own?

    Hi

Is this a wild rabbit or a pet? Either way, the rabbit needs to be taken to a vet to be treated or euthanased humanely. Treatment might involve stitching up wounds if necessary, pain relief etc. The poor rabbit will be in shock also and might need some fluids. It really depends on the extent of the injuries as to its prognosis.

    Good luck!
