I am a new "dog parent". Franky is house kept. He has soft stool. He also waits a long time to have a bowel movement when I walk him. Should I be worried?

    Hi

This is nothing to worry about. Dogs will go when they need to go. If his stools are a little soft, try him on a different diet. A complete biscuit based diet is best, without human food additions that could upset his system. If he has proper diarrhea then withold foor 24hrs, and give hime chicken and rice for 3 days.

    Best of luck

Ok.  I will try that, but when you say biscuit, do you mean those doggy treat biscuits?  How many a day?  Should I continue to give him the dog food?

    Hi

I meant a dry dog food diet, rather than a tinned one. There are many complete dry dog foods on the market, which are also better for your dogs teeth than the wet tinned ones.
