rabbit wont eat

    my 2 year old male hotot dwarf rabbit stopped eating and pooping. the poop that he did go was very small and not shaped in the hard round pellets like its supposed to. i havnt been feeding him lettuce or anything out of the ordinary. just plain pellets and an occational carrot as a treat. whats wrong?

    Hi,

    Did your rabbit Snowflake start eating again? If he is still not right, he needs his teeth checked first and foremost. Spurs on the cheek teeth or overgrown incisors are the most common cause of appetite loss in rabbits. Once that is ruled out you can start looking at infections etc.
