it was hot today and my dog was wrestling with another.shortly afterward he seemed like he couldnt find his balance, started drooling (he never drools) staggered back and forth for a bit, i picked him up and he was still trying to walk in place for a bit, walked in circles, knocked over his water bowl while walking slowly, slightly sideways, and seemed to be somewhere else. i thought he was seriously dying, but shortly thereafter, he started playing and running around normal. i found him on the highway about 6 months ago, and noone knows what breed he is, but is apparently about 12 or 13 years old.

It could be that he has a neural issue It would be worth it to have him checked out by your veterinarian aswell. Another possibility could be that he could have been suffereing from a slight heat exhaustion, it is just as important to keep your pets cool in the summer as it is to yourself cool. If you can and want to keep a better eye on your pets health you can check his temperature during the summer if he plays or goes outside for a duration. Anything  exceedingly over 103 degrees fahrenheit could be cause for alarm and they need to be cooled down immediately. Spray/wet him down with COOL not ice cold water and have him in a cool area of the house. A stationary fan can aid in decreasing his temp. Check his temperature every 15-30 minutes. You should also call your vet for more help aswell. I hope i helped, thank you for the question.
