foot or leg

when my cat jumps on my bed or the sink anything high she will start crying and lifting her leg its always the left leg ot started this saturday . then after a min she will stop and go on like nothing happened what could that be, and how can i check to see if there is someting wrong

    Hello!

    It is difficult to tell withou being to see her exactly what is going on here, It could well be a soft tissue injury caused from jumoing or landing awkardly. If this is the case then jumping on the leg/foot will cause pain but can subside as well. My advice would be to restrict her as much as you can to allow her to rest that leg. Also - discourage her from jumping up and down as this does put a lot of pressure on an already sore/injured leg.

    If the symptoms persist I would advise aveterinary check incase something else is going on i.e cat bite etc.
