Hi, is the snake in generally good condition? it may be that s/he is getting used to new surroundings or may not yet be hungry. It would be worth taking him/her for a general check up as there are various reasons why they may not eat, including mouth infections, shedding, parasites. (Please note if you are in the uk it is illegal to feed live bait) if you are feeding dead bait, try warming the mouse in warm water and jiggling it in front of the snake as this can aggravate it enough to strike and eat. obviously not using your fingers but a long pair of artery forceps or similar. Good Luck. Selena

This could be because of his new surroundings, for snakes are very high stress creatures. And since he's on live food, I don't suggest keeping it in the cage with him for that long, because mice have been known to harm snakes that aren't aggressive eaters or in this case just not hungry. I suggest leaving him alone for about a week and a half and than trying to feed him again. And dangle the mouse above his head so he can get a good look at it.
