my dogs just started vomiting. They don't regularly vomit. They just got back from a kennel should I be worried?

If your dogs are otherwise bright, there is no need to worry unduly. Simply starve them for 24 hours (with plenty of water available) and then offer them bland food only for a few days, such as chicken and rice.

The fact that both dogs are vomiting makes it highly likely that this is a case of bacterial gastritis, from eating something that has gone off, either being fed it or scavenging. If the vomiting doesn't stop with the starvation, if there is any blood in the vomit, if the dogs seem very depressed or lethargic or if it recurs then you will need to visit a vet for an examination. If you are concerned take them both today.
