my hamster has a sore eye that is stuck together when he has just woken up what should i do

Hello!
To help unstick the eye just bathe it with warm water on cotton wool or a cotton bud.
It would be advisible to get it checked as sawdust etc can get caught in the eye and cause infection quite quickly.
