My dog is about 8 years old and for 2 days he has been hiding underf my futon crying, he come out to pee but goes right back under and whimpers. if we touch him he yelps but we can't find any source of pain, he acts like his whole body hurts. He hasn't been around anything different or recieved a pshysical cause for pain. we just can't figure it out. he is walking slower and seems to move like an old man, but a week ago he was fine.

There is always teh possibility that he may have strained a muscle or sustained some trauma doing something completely normal, like walking up stairs, jumping on or off the couch or on/off your bed. Older pets are prone to having hip, knee, elbow or spinal problems. It would be worth it to take him into his vet and have them assess him and his joints. Until then keep his activity limited, no running, jumping, playing. Only short leashed walks for him to go outside to urinate and have a bowel movement. Thank you for your question, I hoped I helped.
