My puppy has been throwing up constantly for about a week now and will not eat. Her vomit is thin but it is red and smells like blood. She can't keep any liquids down for very long. She's slow, looks depressed and doesn't always respond. She also has a lot of thick white mucus coming from her eyes. The vet thinks that there is something lodged in her intesteins and that surgery is the next step, but I would like to avoid that. Is this the only option, what is rong with her?
