HI!
My cat, 7 month from a shelter, was spayed on Saturday.
She is eating and grooming and all that. However, noticed some puss on the cut, and the cut looks very red but not bleeding. Also, it is not open.
I put some antibiotic cream on the cut. Should I give her doxycycline or anything else as addition or not worry about it? Was adviced to stop antibiotic earlier as she recovered and was given for 2 days. Can I restart doxyclicine again?
Also, she only poops in clay or anything but shredded paper which is what we are adviced to use for now.
She is mobile and eating and drinking well.
