my dog seems to be in pain and gets scared and crys wehen i pet him near his back legs and inbetween his hips and boddy he is a 6 month old puppy he hs not pooped today or yesterday please tell me what could possibly be wrong with him

It could be constipation wihich can be uncomfortable and distressing.
Is there any vomiting?? Lethargic?? It's always possibe he has a foreign body - has eaten something he shouldnt have and so has an obstruction and so can't pass faeces. Could he have got hold of something, i.e a toy??
